Preparing an effective setting

The environment is widely recognised at the child's Third Teacher after the parents and you! Taking steps to create a rich learning environment, which considers each child's needs is crucial.

We have created a checklist for each of the 7 areas of learning, children's behaviour and the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements of the EYFS. To carry out a complete audit of how well you implement the requirements of the EYFS, use these as a working record of what you already have in place and the changes you would like to make over time.
