About this module
This course has been produced as an aid to anyone who works with children, whether you are a childminder, working alone or employing others, or if you work in a larger group setting.
It aims to help you to understand why you need to record a child's development and learning, what to record in a child's development record, how you might achieve this, how the record can help you to identify the child's next steps in their development and how you can communicate effectively with others who are relevant to the child's learning and development.
Guidance on how to complete the compulsory 2 Year Progress Check is also included.

This module is available for you to re-visit as many times as you need and unlike some online courses, there is no limit to how many times you can retake the Knowledge Test at the end of the course.
How long do I have to complete the training?
For non-members the course will be available for a year from date of purchase. For annual members this course is included as part of your membership package and will be available as long as your subscription remains active.
