About this module

This course is validated by Cherwell and South Northants Public Health Team as part of our Primary Health Authority Partnership for Childminding UK Members.

This carefully designed online course will give you all the relevant food safety information childminders need. The EYFS states you have to ensure that you are competent to prepare and handle food appropriately (Statutory Framework 3.46) and completing this training and following the guidance it covers will help ensure that you are competent and complying with the EYFS requirements.

This course includes all the information you would expect to find about food related illness and food safety but also includes additional information that is relevent to a childminding setting.

All Childminding UK online training supports the use of Browser Extensions for translation and Dyslexia support. If you currently use a Browser Extension you can be confident that you will be able to use it while completing your training.

Step one

Once successfully completed we'll send your name, email address and details of this module to the CPD Accreditation Service.

Step two

How long do I have to complete the training?

This module will be available for one year from the date of purchase and can be accessed and completed as many times as needed during that period.
