About this module
Enhancing and extending children's Cultural Capital is a requirement that will be checked on your Ofsted Inspections. When a child arrives in your setting, the experiences they have had make up their Cultural Capital- it is something we all have and part of the role of childminding is to enhance and extend the child's experiences and therefore increase their Cultural Capital. The more a child knows and the wider their experiences, the better chances they have later in life.
There is a huge importance of working with parents and this module explains how parents own Cultural Capital can help or hinder their child's Cultural Capital development.
