Childminding Consultant Sam spent the weekend competing in the Lake District Ultra Challenge, walking day and night to cover 100kms, all in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK.

The remarkable feat tested Sam's mental as well as physical strength "It was the most incredible overwhelming emotional thing I have ever done. I have never had to work so hard in my life. It was unforgiving and challenging all the way round, relentless! I am so tired but physically actually not too bad considering"

The team are incredibly proud of Sam's achievement and wish her luck in the next event in a few weeks time. Go Sam!
