We are absolutely delighted to have passed the first stage of our Princess Royal Training Application.

The next stage is a virtual meeting on June 3rd with two Assessors who want us to explain a little more about our Membership, and the impact it has on members, your childminding settings and ultimately the children that you mind.

Our Assessors will then write a report about our application. The report will be sent to Princess Anne and it is she who reads all the reports and decides which organisations have achieved the highest standards of learning and development and can therefore achieve the Award. The announcement of who has achieved will be announced in August on the Princess’s birthday, so there is a while to wait before we know the outcome.

As a staff team, we put our hearts and souls into providing the best training and support we can for childminders, but we couldn’t achieve this application without Members also saying how Membership has benefited them.

We will of course let you all know as soon as we hear if our application has been successful. If so, it means we hold the Award for another three years.
