Dingleys promise is a small charity run by Catherine McLeod who was awarded her MBE in recognition for her work with vulnerable children. The charity work with families who have children from birth to five years who have SEND and lobby to influence policy change as well as providing training.

This survey is for parents of children under 5 who have SEND. The findings will be used by Dingleys Promise in their work with government showing parents voice about their lived experiences and the barriers they face.

“Families are at the heart of what we do at Dingley’s Promise. Through our work we are acutely aware of the difficulties many families face right now in accessing their entitlements, nursery places for their child, funding and access to support services. It is vital that we clarify the challenges and barriers face to make real and positive change happen.”
