Last week (28th February/ 1st March) Childminding UK had the pleasure of attending the highly anticipated Childcare & Education EXPO in London – an event brimming with innovation, insight, and inspiration for childcare professionals across the country. As always, the EXPO provided a fantastic opportunity for networking, engage with potential new childminders, and discovering the latest trends and developments in the world of early years education.

A Vibrant Hub for Childcare Professionals

The EXPO brought together a diverse array of exhibitors, speakers, and experts, all eager to share their knowledge and showcase new tools designed to enhance the experience of children and childcare providers alike. For Childminding UK, it was a chance to connect with our members and the broader childcare community, as well as to engage with key industry leaders and organisations. On Friday, we spoke with Stephen Morgan MP, Minister for Early Years, to share valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in the years to come.

Networking and Community Building

Throughout the weekend, Childminding UK representatives met with an abundance of childminders and other childcare providers to exchange experiences, tips, and advice. It was fantastic to hear directly from members about the challenges they face and the successes they've had in their childminding businesses. The EXPO proved to be a wonderful reminder of the vibrant and supportive community that exists within the childcare sector.

We also connected with numerous suppliers and organisations, ensuring that our members have access to the best discounts available.

Looking Ahead

As always, attending the Childcare & Education EXPO has inspired us at Childminding UK to continue advocating for the importance of childminders within the broader early years sector. The event has reinforced our commitment to ensuring that the voices of childminders are heard and that they have access to the resources, support, and recognition they deserve.
