About this module

There are many reasons that children suffer grief and loss - it isn't just about bereavement of a close family member. This training is not intended to override the knowledge you have of the children in your care, which should always be your primary guide. It is to support you with ideas to incorporate as you find useful. While many practitioners are concerned about getting it wrong in a sensitive situation, the important thing to remember is that if you work to know your child and have a good relationship with them, and if you listen to and respond to your child’s feelings, then it is difficult to say or do the wrong thing.

All Childminding UK online training supports the use of Browser Extensions for translation and Dyslexia support. If you currently use a Browser Extension you can be confident that you will be able to use it while completing your training.
