This training is aimed at providing an introduction or refresher about Safeguarding Children and has been written specifically with Childminders in mind. This course incorporates Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training.
£35.00 (member price £20.00)This is an interactive, virtual Safeguarding Children Training Course, that has been written specifically for Childminders. We will guide you through the information required to understand your responsibilities to help keep children safe from harm.
This training course also incorporates the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training that is compulsory for Childminders as it is your responsibility to safeguard children in your setting. Therefore, you do not need to book a separate DSL course.
Ofsted accepts virtual safeguarding training provided it meets the requirements of the EYFS.
Around 2 days before the session, you will be emailed a link and clear Zoom joining instructions. You can access this training on any device. However, as we will be showing PowerPoint slides, you may find it easier to view on a bigger screen such as a PC, laptop or tablet if you have one available.
