This training is aimed at providing an introduction or refresher about Safeguarding Children and has been written specifically with Childminders in mind. This course incorporates Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training.
£45.00 (member price £30.00)This is an interactive, virtual Safeguarding Children Training Course, that has been written specifically for Childminders. We will guide you through the information required to understand your responsibilities to help keep children safe from harm.
This training course also incorporates the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training that is compulsory for Childminders as it is your responsibility to safeguard children in your setting. Therefore, you do not need to book a separate DSL course.
Ofsted accepts virtual safeguarding training provided it meets the requirements of the EYFS.
Once you have booked onto the course, your zoom link and all the handouts relating to the course will be in your dashboard under 'booked events'. This is the green button in the center of the screen when you first log in to your dashboard.
You can access this training on any device. However, as we will be showing PowerPoint slides, you may find it easier to view on a bigger screen such as a PC, laptop or tablet if you have one available.
