£20.00The Early Years Foundation Stage states that while childminders do not need to have written policies and procedures, they must be able to explain their policies and procedures to parents, carers and Ofsted inspectors as well as to ensure that any assistants or co-childminders adhere to them. Having written policies and procedures is considered good practice and is the easiest way of passing the information to others.
It is important that you read all the policies and procedures in this pack. If the content of a policy is a true reflection of your childminding practice, you can use it in its original form. If however, it needs some changes to fully meet the procedures you currently have in place, they can easily be amended as they are supplied in Word Format.
