Understanding the best way to manage funded places in your setting and considering the impact on your business overall can be daunting. This virtual training has been developed to clearly explain the requirements of offering funded places as the government expands their childcare offer to all children of eligible parents over the age of 9 months.

About this event

In the 2023 budget the Chancellor announced a major change in the way that childcare places could be funded. The timeframe for these changes are:

  • April 2024 when 2 year olds may be eligible for up to 15 hours per week

  • September 2024 Children aged 9 months to 2 yrs may be eligible for up to 15 hours per week

  • September 2025 all children aged 9 months to 4 years may be eligible for up to 30 hours per week
