About this module

Having a concrete understanding about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and a strong ethos of positive modeling to young children is one of the best ways to help prevent future racism and bullying.

The fact that both asthma and dyslexia are considered to be disabilities shows that in our roles as Childminders, we are very likely to have to make the changes required to accommodate children who have disabilities of some kind to ensure equality and diversity.

Teaching our young children about cultural differences and different festivals around the world can be exciting and fun. By using loose parts, role play, eating foods from different countries, celebrating different festivals - we can teach our children to celebrate our diverse world.

All Childminding UK online training supports the use of Browser Extensions for translation and Dyslexia support. If you currently use a Browser Extension you can be confident that you will be able to use it while completing your training.
