How lovely that you can at last enjoy activities with your little ones without having wellies and raincoats packed too. As a staff team of ex-childminders, we admit to being envious of you all as we sit on our laptops all day.

We are currently waiting (not very patiently) to hear if our Princess Royal Training Award application has passed the first stage of the process. Of course, we will let you know as soon as we do.

Yesterday Cat and I had the honour of attending the 10th anniversary of the Princess Royal Training Awards. Princess Anne spoke about the impact the awards have had over the 10 years and the number of people who have received the training from the recipient organisations, which of course includes your membership training. We also had opportunity to talk to other Award Recipients and share good practice ideas. And of course we didn’t miss any opportunity to tell other Award Winners all about Childminding UK and the wonderful work of our members.
