As you plan for children returning to your setting or starting to attend for more hours following the coronavirus pandemic, there are some practical things you need to think about to ensure your child/ren have a safe and positive return.
Even if the child is returning to the same setting they attended before lockdown, things may look or feel different and it is important you are able support them though this.
This form gives you an opportunity to work together with parents to consider what children and families have experienced during lockdown, and how you can prepare them emotionally and psychologically for their return. This should also help to recognise the growth, development and learning that has occurred while your child(ren) have not been in the setting and help you provide the best experiences possible in this difficult time of transitioning to a 'new normal'.
